I'm starting a substack (?! - a dubious move)

Mostly for esoteric longer-form chess-related things, like book reviews

I can’t promise I’m a good writer or even a decent book reviewer. I just figured this may be the most centralized way to put my larger-than-280-characters thoughts out on the internet mostly for my own benefit, but if it helps you too, I consider that a pretty decent plus.

I mostly plan on putting my chess book reviews on here, so they aren’t siloed away on Amazon or Goodreads or some niche chess bookstore website online. I’m also considering posting reviews about Chessable courses I’ve bought and used. That, I’m much less certain about though.

And lastly, I might post some links to particularly helpful Youtube videos or podcast episodes that I’ve found or have been a guest on that might interest fellow #chesspunks like myself.
